Will I lose my telephones if I lose power?
Older basic telephones received power though the phone line. Even today most phones require power through a standard wall socket and those phones do not work without power. The only way to prevent this is to have a UPS (uninterruptible power supply) connected to your telephone. You will need a UPS for your telephones and one for your network equipment in order to keep your business up and running through anything.
